Why should I hire a professional organizer?

There is a wide range of services a professional organizer can offer you. The best is to save you time and energy planning and implementing an organization plan. Sometimes all it takes is an outside party giving you direction and outlining the steps, to achieve your goal. Other times it may entail having the organizer do the work for you. The great thing is that you get to choose and the organizer is there ensure that everyone stays on track!

How much will this cost me?

Different organizers offer different rates and/or packages.  It is important for you to determine what you are willing to spend and clearly let the professional organizer know what your limit is.  It is also necessary for you to have an initial consultation. This not only lets you meet the consultant and ensure compatibility, but also allows the professional organizer to conduct an assessment. During this time they will ask many questions and listen to what your expectations and goals are. With this information, they will provide a project outline, estimate timeline, cost analysis and possibly referrals for tasks that are not within their expertise.

What happens after the ‘job’ is completed?

Professional organizers care about their clients and want them to succeed with the strategies and tools they recommend.  Some will include a future follow-up in their service either in person or via email or phone.  Every consultant is different, so this is an important question to ask when you meet your organizer.

How can an organizer help me sell my house?

Every potential homeowner is looking for a home that shows well. What this means is that they can walk through the house and envision themselves living there.  No one can see the potential if it is in disarray and there is clutter overwhelming the space.  Also, adding a decorative flare to any home makes it more appealing and can leave the home buyer with a positive impression.
